Koorivar Fusiliers

The Koorivar Fusiliers were part of the Corporate Alliance's Policy Administration Directorate, operating as a defense force and bodyguards. Dressed in red-colored armor, the Koorivar warriors were commanded by the legendary General Oro Dassyne, who was assigned with protecting the corporation's assets. The Fusiliers did this alongside NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcers, they also worked to deal with pirates, delinquent debtors, spies, and more. When the Clone Wars took place, from 22 BBY until 19 BBY, the Corporate Alliance and its military powers joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems in combating the Galactic Republic, pulling the Koorivar Fusiliers under the Separatist Droid Army.

Elite and battle-hardened warriors, they were not commonly seen in the Confederacy military around the start of the war. However, over time the Separatist Senate convinced many to join the Fusiliers and other corporate security forces, and by the Outer Rim Sieges were more often seen in combat, used as infantry. They were deployed on Corporate Alliance fortress worlds such as Kooriva, Murkhana, and Antar 4. In 19 BBY, an entry on the Koorivar Fusiliers was written by ARC trooper Muzzle and published in the survival compendium "Neyo's Almanac of Clankers." Muzzle found the name to be ornate and warned clone troopers of the Fusiliers skill in close combat, saying they were also capable of using their skull horns as a weapon.
