Mistral Squadron was a starfighter squadron of the New Republic Defense Fleet Starfighter Corps that served during the Galactic Civil War between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. The squadron participated in classified missions and off-the-record assignments that required trust and discretion above all else. The squadron was outfitted with T-65B X-wing starfighters, RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, and BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers that were painted in the squadron's livery; pink with light gray markings and stripes.
