Mon Calamari Commercial Expeditionary Service

The Mon Calamari Commercial Expeditionary Service was a venture of planetary trading service developed by the Mon Calamari species. Mon Calamari Shipyards provided the Commercial Expeditionary Service with ships, including DeepWater-class light freighters. This submersible light freighter was the suggested backbone for the whole Commercial Expeditionary Service's fleet and around 10,000 DeepWaters were built.

At some point the Galactic Empire ordered the Mon Calamari Commercial Expeditionary Service to be dissolved without a warning. The fleet of ships owned by the Commercial Expeditionary Service were placed into auction, where private citizens could purchase them.
