Sanctuary Squadron

Sanctuary Squadron was a starfighter squadron of the New Republic Defense Fleet Starfighter Corps that participated in the Galactic Civil War between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. The squadron was outfitted with T-65B X-wing starfighters, RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, and BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers that were painted in the squadron's livery; green with light gray markings and stripes. Shortly after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, when Operation: Cinder began, New Republic High Command created Sanctuary Squadron, which was dedicated to the protection of worlds under the heel of the Empire.
