The Sith Triumvirate was a loose alliance of three Sith Lords that controlled what remained of Darth Revan's Sith Empire after the end of the Jedi Civil War.
The Triumvirate was solidified sometime after the Battle of Rakata Prime, which saw the death of Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Malak. They were aided by a large number of Sith apprentices, Sith Masters, and Sith assassins in addition to regular military forces.
The Triumvirate was responsible for the First Jedi Purge and the attack on Katarr, resulting in the near-destruction of the Jedi Order, which had been weakened by the Civil War.
