Southern Rim NavHaz

Southern Rim NavHaz was a scientific agency that monitored hyperspace navigational hazards in the southern portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was in existence by the era of the New Republic.

Ison, a star system in the Outer Rim's Greater Javin region, was enclosed by nebula wisps that made hyperspace travel through the area risky. Southern Rim NavHaz reported that within a few centuries these coalescing gases and debris would effectively close the Rimward end of the Ison Corridor hyperlane, rendering the route obsolete.
