Unidentified rebel battalion

A battalion of the Alliance to Restore the Republic was dispatched to Vrogas Vas by General Jan Dodonna during the Battle of Vrogas Vas, an engagement in the Galactic Civil War during which Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader was shot down and crashed on the surface. Dodonna dispatched the battalion as reinforcements to the company that defended the Rebel Refueling Base on the planet, and Commander Leia Organa and members of the Heroes of Yavin accompanied the battalion. Once at Vrogas Vas, Organa took command of the rebel forces and coordinated their actions in their attempt to defeat Vader.
