Unit 10

Unit 10 was a group in the Tactical Defense Force of Janix Civil Defense—a law enforcement agency in Janix city on the planet Janix—during the reign of the Galactic Empire. During one night between 17 BBY and around 13 BBY, Unit 10 and officer Pak's unit were both in stationary Tactical Defense Force cruisers above the city, when radio message from police dispatch reported that alarms had been activated at a bank tower in the Banking District. Pak quickly responded by ordering Unit 10 to follow his airspeeder and both headed for the site of the incident with sirens activated.

A group of Mandalorians and Zabrak criminals were departed the building in a stolen bank transport just as the police units arrived. Spybot, the criminals' probe droid, alerted the Mandalorian leader Rook Kast to the approaching police units. Kast, from inside the stolen transport, activated a series of pre-planted charges on the surfaces of buildings around the bank, deploying tripwires between them. Unit 10, who was ahead of Pak's unit, flew into the wires and and their vehicle was sliced into pieces and exploded. Pak's speeder managed to avoid the wires and reported the Unit 10's loss over the radio.
