Abandoned smelting plant

The abandoned smelting plant was a rusting structure on the planet Kothlis formerly owned by Raynor Mining Enterprises.

It was built by Raynor at the eastern feet of the Ragnook Mountains, for extracting ore (with a complex mining system) and producing smelted metal. Some of those resources were used to build a huge metallic platform as foundation of a new city.

The reserves of the planet suddenly ran out, and Raynor went bankrupt. When the Bothans bought and colonised the planet, they had no interest in the plant; it had been abandoned and fallen into disrepair.

Some years before the Galactic Civil War, the whiphid Spearmaster Rathleek with a band of twenty hunters came to Kothlis and hunt in the Arblis Forest, and settled into the plant, making it their base.
