Amber (material)

Amber was a resin-like substance found throughout the galaxy.

Dathomir Amber was a rare substance found along the watery portions of the planet Dathomir that was used to create jewelry, Portaak amber could be extracted from Portaak leaves on the planet Haruun Kal, and Manaxian amber was a substance found within the Manaxia system. A Kubaz crime lord, Schnil Hakoon, also owned a valuable jewel known as the Amber Eye.

Various plants shared their name with the substance, including the Amber ferns and Amber-roots found on Mandalore. The similarly colored alcoholic beverage, Neimoidian amber, could also be purchased on planets like Wielu.
