Amber (material)

Amber was an orange material that could be found at locations such as Trammis III. Various Force-sensitive individuals were encased in amber beneath Fortress Inquisitorius on the oceanic moon Nur in 9 BBY. A similar material known as Amberine, also sometimes referred to as "Amber Stones," could be found within the caves of the Outer Rim Territories moon of Toshara by 3 ABY. Amber shared its name with a color featured in the names of various costumes and weapons used by Hunters of the Grand Arena on Vespaara including Charr, Zaina, and Imara Vex in 9 ABY. DJ owned a ring that contained amber by 34 ABY.

Various other things found across the galaxy seemed to share some relationship with amber, including ambercryst, a fossilized bone marrow substance known found within Ossein Plains on the Boneworld, amberflies, a species of flies found within the crystalline caverns of Ootoo Prime, and amberwise, one of two colors used to describe the appearance of the upper levels of the vibrant spires and platforms on the planet Ylagia, the other being melancholigo.
