Anti-Infantry Turrets, also known as anti-infantry batteries, and anti-personnel turrets, were ground-based laser cannons. They employed precision targeting computers to aim at enemy infantry formations and support equipment. High-energy blaster bolts were then fired from the cannons, inflicting casualties and destroying materiel.
