Anti-ray shield energy weapon

Anti-ray shield energy weapons were weapons that utilized an unusual energy frequency which was being researched by the Galactic Empire to see if they could create a weapon to bypass ray shields, as they were virtually impervious to all but expensive ordnance such as proton torpedoes. It was unclear whether they managed to succeed before its downfall, or even if such development was remotely possible to achieve. It, alongside ship-scale disruptors and a restraining bolt-override signal, were among the research materials that members of the First Order were trying to locate, and members of the Resistance were trying to destroy alongside the Imperial lab notes relating to the research were to be found at.
