Restraining bolt-override signal

Restraining bolt-override signals were a type of signal frequency transmitter that was meant to bypass the restraining bolts of droids, thus allowing the Galactic Empire to have easy access to new recruits in the droid pool. It was unclear whether they managed to succeed before its downfall, or even if such development was remotely possible to achieve. It, alongside anti-ray shield energy weapons and a ship-scale disruptors, were among the research materials that members of the First Order were trying to locate, and members of the Resistance were trying to destroy alongside the Imperial lab notes relating to the research were to be found at.
