Bioreactors were equipment used to power Yuuzhan Vong starships.
Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis had bioreactors amongst his bacta tanks, cages, and stasis fields, all of which were used at his laboratory on the island Aborah, at Muunilinst. These devices held life-forms—many of which came from the galaxy's most remote worlds—for the Sith Lord's experiments.
