Black Curs Base

Black Curs Base was the operation base for the Black Curs, an independent mercenary group affiliated with the New Republic Intelligence Service in the years immediately following the Battle of Endor. Its location was kept secret from anyone outside the team, including the Curs' allies in the New Republic. It occupied parts of a long-abandoned Rebel base, namely the hangar and command center; the rest of the base remained in a ruined state. A few well-hidden gunnery emplacements defended the base. The core members of the Black Curs lived in makeshift quarters alongside their support personnel, made up mostly of orphaned young people whom the mercs had recruited. Some of these crew had even younger siblings living with them at the base.
