Blood Hunt

Legends Canon version → Linked from 6 articles

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Blood Hunt were rituals among the feline Cathar species of the planet of the same name in the Outer Rim. During the ritual, Cathar warriors would engage in single combat against entire nests of Kiltik, in order to gain honor and purge themselves of inner darkness. Sylvar, along with Tott Doneeta, went on a blood hunt in 3986 BBY at the urging of Kharr, although the combat only served to fuel her anger.
