Carbon-nanofilament armor, or CNF armor, was a type of hull armor equipped in the CC-7700/E interdiction cruisers of the New Republic. The CNF-armored cruisers were deployed during the Battle of Mindor against the forces of the Galactic Empire, in 5 ABY.
