Case file 127456 was part of the Galactic Republic's official records and was related to the disappearance of Jedi Master Sifo-Dias. It had been sealed by the Office of the Chancellor, so when Grand Master Yoda was looking for information on Sifo-Dias after his lightsaber was found on the Oba Diah moon, Yoda went to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to ask about the file.
