Chronamite was a poisonous mineral from the planet Chrona. It could be processed into a strong alloy for use in starship and vehicle construction. It could also be used as a poison.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Corellian Chemical Corporation owned a large stock of such a mineral. In 1 ABY, the company recruited an independent strike team to destroy a Black Sun base on Corellia from where the criminals intended to steal the company's stocks of chronamite.
