A claw-cable was a specialized line consisting of a flexible durasteel cable equipped with a grappling claw. This line could be deployed from a utility belt, an aerosol launcher, or a Grappling Gun for use as a grappling line.
Although it was possible for a Human to use the claw-cable, the device was generally installed on a droid for use with a powered winch.
