Comm tower

Canon Legends version → Linked from 51 articles

A comm tower or Transmitter tower was a tower used to aid communications. Lothal had several of them, including Comm Tower E-234 and LothalNet comm tower E-272, which Ezra Bridger lived in after it was abandoned. The Galactic Empire's main comm tower on the planet was later destroyed on the orders of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin after the Spectres hijacked it. Comm towers could also be found on Lah'mu and Wrea. At some point by 1 BBY, a communications tower was destroyed by the Drabatan rebel Paodok'Draba'Takat during a demolitions job on the astronomical object of Foerost.
