Command Control Instruction

Command Control Instructions were non-routine operational commands that rewrote a droid's primary function either completely or partially. Inputting the instructions could be achieved by either a console, or by command control voice. Captain Raymus Antilles issued a command control insruction to R2-D2 and C-3PO ordering them to keep the identity of Princess Leia Organa a secret. Leia was furthermore designated a command control voice, and she gave R2-D2 further instructions to bring the stolen Death Star plans to General Obi-Wan Kenobi at all costs. Both droids carried out their instructions during their time on the planet Tatooine.
