Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Fungus (plural form: fungi) was an organism found on countless worlds across the galaxy. While some fungi were poisonous, such as the blood-eating fungus, many varieties were edible.

Fungus came in a variety of colors, including blue, blue-green, pink, lavender, peach, violet, yellow, and white. Some types of fungi were also luminescent. Fungi from Bakura were rainbow-colored.

Fungi on the Yuuzhan Vong world of Zonama Sekot were capable of movement on boras in order to search sunlight.

The Grenade fungi were white, globular fungi found on Yavin 4. When stepped on they exploded in a cloud of poisonous spores.

Lokka Fungi were used in Totem Magic on Endor
