Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
Zonama Sekot (Ferroan for "World of Body and Mind") and labelled by Chiss surveys as M-Eighteen, was a living rogue planet in the Unknown Regions. Zonama was the planet itself, while Sekot was the living organism. It became the adopted homeworld of the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong after the end of their war of conquest of the galaxy.
Zonama Sekot was born from a seed of Yuuzhan'tar, the original living sentient homeworld of the Yuuzhan Vong which had been destroyed during the eons of conflict in a distant galaxy. Zonama Sekot was once in the Tingel Arm of the Outer Rim Territories before disappearing into the Unknown Regions.
