The ghet'bur, or gorget, is a piece of Mandalorian armor that protects the throat and forms part of the haalas, or cuirass. An earlier piece of armor, the jatne ghet'bur, or upper gorget, served a similar purpose but was too restrictive and could hinder movement, and was rarely used by Mandalorian warriors by the time of the Clone Wars.
