The jatne ghet'bur, or upper gorget, was a piece of Mandalorian armor that protected the wearer's throat and formed part of the haalas, or cuirass. It was an earlier piece of armor, which proved to be too restrictive and hindered the wearer's movement, and by the time of the Clone Wars, was rarely used by Mandalorian warriors.
