A grok was an entity. Around 3 ABY, while fighting the bounty hunter Boba Fett on the Rishi moon in the Outer Rim, the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk had his hand cut off by Fett. In response, Bossk referred to Fett as a "son of a grok."
