Hadeira serum was a medical solution that was the only effective treatment for the bloodburn disease. Users could develop a dependency on hadeira and eventually overdose, leading to hadeira toxicity. Tanith Ponta died of a hadeira overdose. Greer Sonnel also relied on hadeira serum as treatment.

While hadeira serum was a helpful treatment, it had side effects such as causing muscle spasms and elevating the patient's heart rate.
