A holographic generator, also known as a Hologram Generator, was part of the technology used aboard the Coral Vanda in their adventure rooms. In conjunction with tactile arrays and olfactory emitters, holographic generators created realistic simulations of other environments. During the early years of the New Republic, the Coral Vanda had four adventure rooms, and the technology was used to create simulations of Coruscant's Imperial Plaza, the sky cities of Tranthellix, a bazaar on an Ithorian Herdship and Berchest's crystal caverns. The generator was part of multispectrum disguise suites such as Corellidyne Visuals' CQ-3.9x holographic image disguiser.
