Imperial compound (Kothlis)

The Imperial compound was a multi-facility complex that served as Consul-General Gilad Halsek's Imperial consulate and estate on the Bothan colony world of Kothlis during the Galactic Civil War.

The complex was situated in the northern are of Tal'cara, between the government plaza and the Bothan police force headquarters.

Inside, the consulate had barracks that supported a small contingent of 24 stormtroopers and an elite force of Scout troopers. A long low guest house served as the base of operations for the mercenary unit Beldonna's Legion, which Halsek kept on personal retainer for extra security. There was also a hangar for vehicle storage and maintenance (the scouts operated 74-Z speeder bikes); about these, lay a spacious training ground.

Halsek resided with his closest advisors in a huge opulent estate, staffed by servants and servant droids. Outside was a garden where unusual plant specimens flourished.

Externally, the complex was surrounded by a durasteel wall ten meters high, with only one fortified gate on the southern side. Constant patrols ensured that only high-ranking Imperial or Bothan officials passed through it.
