Jarn Harvus was an individual who explored the planet Nim Drovis sometime before the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. While on Nim Drovis, Harvus discovered two new species of fauna: a flying carrion-eater and an entirely unrelated but physically similar species. Harvus named the new creatures the harvap and the harvorisk, and both species soon spread throughout Hutt Space.
