Jodzia's mayor

An individual served as the mayor of the city Jodzia, located on the Outer Rim Territories planet Bantoo, during the High Republic Era. In 229 BBY, Bantoo was located within the region of space controlled by the Nihil pirates known as the Occlusion Zone, and thus sealed from any contact outside of the Occlusion Zone. A group of Nihil, led by Minister of Protection General Abediah Viess, arrived at the city and demanded tithes from it. The mayor refused to pay the tithes, claiming that the Nihil sealing Bantoo inside the Occlusion Zone by the creation of the Stormwall was illegal. In response, the Nihil ripped through Jodzia, destroying three districts of the city.
