A lianeth was a creature that had spots. While on the Outer Rim planet Dalna around 228 BBY, the monster hunter Ty Yorrick encountered Lourna Dee, a former-Nihil-Tempest Runner-turned-bounty hunter. Having previously been informed by Jedi Master Elzar Mann that Dee had changed her ways, Yorrick, who believed that Dee was working with dark siders, compared Dee to a lianeth by using the proverb "a lianeth never changes its spots." Dee, however, informed Yorrick that she was not working with dark side users.
