A light corvette was a classification of starship.

Modelled after the larger Thranta-class corvette, the Defender-class light corvette was designed by the Rendili Vehicle Corporation for the Jedi Order during the Great Galactic War.

Millennia later, Rendili StarDrive designed the Imperial Customs Corvette, a class of light corvette.
