The Lukaze Four engine and thruster system was a type of starship engine and thruster system produced by Elsinore-Cordova Engineering during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Named after the Bothan pilot Ne'wha Lukaze, the system included retro thrusters that permitted ships to accelerate in reverse for a brief period of time—thus flying directly backwards briefly before resuming its original course.
