A memory circuit was a component used in droids. By 9 ABY, according to a group of Anzellan droidsmiths on Nevarro, Peli Motto and Jawas, IG memory circuits were hard to find and were no longer manufactured. When the Mandalorian Din Djarin asked the Anzellans if they could fix IG-11, they stated that he should get a new droid, and that IG-11 would not be able to "think" without a memory circuit.
