Microsecond

A microsecond was a unit of time. Droids could retrieve information from their permanent memories in microseconds, making them much faster at information retrieval than Humans. Particle shields equipped on capital ships were raised and lowered with microsecond precision when launching carried craft like starfighters or when physical projectiles like missiles were fired.
