The Model V37 Ambassador was a type of scapedroid. It had a humanoid appearance whose entire head and torso area was replaced by a large holoprojectors or monitor. Nervous negotiators would send scapedroids to a parley site and speak to one another through the safe telepresence functions offered by the droids.
In 44 ABY, Galactic Alliance commando unit Wraith Squadron rented one on the planet Kuratooine during a mission.
