A moving sublight object, or MSO, was a term used to describe targets that could be acquired by targeting sensors. The X-wing starfighter's targeting sensors could track up to 1,000 MSOs and acquire 20 "bogeys" simultaneously, allowing the pilot to rapidly shift targets during combat.
