Nau'ur kad beskar'gam

Canon Linked from 2 articles

Nau'ur kad beskar'gam (Mando'a for "lighting of iron skin") was the traditional Mandalorian art of forging beskar armor. This ancient craft could not be adapted to mass production. Within Mandalorian space, the necessary expertise and specialized tools were kept as closely guarded secrets, deliberately prevented from spreading to the wider galaxy. Even after the Empire annexed Mandalore, Imperial scientists were unable to replicate the process despite their intense efforts.

The forge served as the beating heart of a Mandalorian covert. The Armorer of the Tribe used a sacred forge to practice the art, crafting armor for Din Djarin and Grogu. She also reforged Djarin's beskar spear into a mail shirt for Grogu.
