Legends
Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
Omega was a standard designation for Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transports found aboard Imperial warships or space stations.
A typical duty for these craft was disabling and boarding enemy craft, or heavy rocket attack such as the assault on the Rebel cruiser Lulsla.
Another standard designation for Imperial DX-9s was Sigma.
Omega was also the name of a Tionese letter.
