Perma-scatter cloud

Perma-scatter clouds were a type of cloud that could be found at the astronomical object Rilias II. At sunrise and sunset, light filtered through perma-scatter clouds and hit a funnel made out of the metal foris alloy in the central water garden of Rilias II. The metal allowed for an exact resonance with minerals found in the perma-scatter clouds, which caused particles in the air to vibrate into small rainbow stars, and also amplified certain audio frequencies.

In 228 BBY, when Rilias II was under the control of the Nihil marauders, the anti-Nihil operative Cair San Tekka took advantage of the interaction between the minerals in perma-scatter clouds and foris alloy to amplify a message recorded by Jedi Master Avar Kriss, which he broadcasted from within the funnel.
