Qieg were a type of creature that lived on the Outer Rim Territories astronomical object Lan Barell in hives. In 382 BBY, when Jedi Knight Gella Nattai visited the cemetery of the Rook—the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh's capital city—she mentally compared the tall structures there to a Qieg hive on Lan Barell.
