Lan Barell was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Hook Nebula's Lan Barell system in the Outer Rim Territories and the Trailing Sectors, situated in grid square O-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid. During the High Republic Era, a hive of Qieg lived on Lan Barell. In 382 BBY, Jedi Knight Gella Nattai visited the cemetery of the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh's capital city, the Rook, mentally comparing the tall structures there to a Qieg hive on Lan Barell.
