The natives living on the planet Li'eta bore ritual scars on their thumbs as part of their unique culture. In 19 BBY, the Alvadorjian operative Soujen Vak-Nhalis visited Li'eta and noticed the scars and other aspects of the world's culture. Val-Nhalis mentally noted that the files he had on the planet did not explain why the natives had them.
