Sector assemblies were legislatures bodies for each sector in the New Republic. Introduced as part of it devolution reforms that took place around 19 ABY. They were responsible for the government of a sector, as well as controlling its representative in the New Republic Senate. During the Caamas Document Crisis, many sector assemblies became gridlocked by opposing factions.
