Sky burial

Sky burial was a funeral rite in which a deceased person was put in an open cairn at high altitude, where birds would devour the corpse. It was practiced on Jelucan, a planet of the Outer Rim Territories. Captain Ronnadam, a member of the Galactic Empire's Security Bureau, regarded that practice as barbaric.
