Bird

Birds or avians were a group of organisms which included the convorees from the moon of Wasskah and the porgs of the ocean planet Ahch-To. Birds also lived on the arboreal planet Naboo, as well as the moon of Yavin 4 and the forest planet Rodia, where they were included in the diet of predatory Ghests. Most birds had feathers, wings, and the ability to fly. Birds usually built nests in trees, though some species were known to make their homes in burrows beneath the ground. They were hatched from eggs. Some bird species communicated via so-called bird calls. Sentient avian species included Hiitians, Snees, and Whiforlans. Many birds included berries in their diet.

Avians on a number of worlds would imprint on the first creature they saw once they emerged from their eggs.
