Spot-lumas, or spotlight lumas, were illumination devices. They could emit beams of light up to a distance of three hundred meters. They came in a variety of sizes and shapes, from thin targeting beams to larger flash beams. They could be programmed to pulse, strobe, flash, glow or twinkle depending on the programming.

The Glow Dome on Adarlon had over 10,000 robotically controlled spot-lumas. Imperial garrisons employed spot-lumas, and smaller versions could be mounted on weapons.
